Earlier this year, David and I visited auntie, she was in hospital with swollen legs and had covid.
She told us off for coming but was clearly pleased to see us. 
She was desperate to go home. I told her,

“I’m sure once you can walk, the doctors would let you leave.”  
With that she flings off her bed sheet and did a jig around her bed! We were giggling. Then with slight embarrassment she says

“ Oh David you saw my gatkes (knickers)”

I miss our chats and your words of wisdom and fabulous sense of humour. I have some comfort in the thought of you being back with your beloved,my uncle Franco and your brothers too💔
